Bio
Kevin McCauley is a photographer and videographer based in Houston, TX.
Capturing the machine is a particular combination of words that I fell in love with, because it encompasses what I try to do. The phrase kept bouncing around in my head while shooting and editing photos; it somehow brought everything into focus. The idea is small or as grand as you want it to be.
I am always on the hunt for new perspectives on iconic automotive designs, weird shadows, and rich patina. I try to depict the subjects the way I idealize the forms in my head.
Kevin has been professionally shooting for over a decade, with clients that include Genesis, Jaguar, Mazda, Audi, Aston Martin, Lincoln, McLaren, Volvo, Polestar, and RM Sotheby's. His work can be seen in Road & Track, Autoweek, and Panorama. His Instagram has been on lists of 'accounts to follow' in Creative Review, GQ, Esquire, Autocar, The London Evening Standard, and many more.
A video he created was voted the Bring-A-Trailer Video of the Year 2021, and was nominated for the 2022 International Motor Film Awards.
